The Bard in April

Celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday with a look at what goes into producing a theatre classic. Join Hyattsvillian Janet Griffin, newly retired director of public programs and artistic producer for the Folger Theatre, to learn about the theater’s 2008 production of Macbeth, what went into developing the staging in order to make a nearly 400-year-old play fresh and exciting.
