SUMMARY:Preserving Family History
DESCRIPTION:Join Heather Olsen and Barbara Hopkins of the Prince George’s County Genealogical Society and Linda Jonas of the Washington DC FamilySearch Center for a workshop on preserving family stories\, photos and documents. The presentation will include free options for scanning photos and documents\, digitizing slides\, videotapes\, and Super 8 film. It will also include tips on identifying and dating old photos\, doing an oral history\, and other ways to pass on family stories.
