Hyattsville Aging in Place organizes social lunches for neighbors, volunteers, and anyone looking to connect over a good meal! The meals create an opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Each person covers the cost of their own meal, and HAP can help facilitate/provide transportation as needed. All lunches are at noon. To RSVP or ask questions, please email HAPcares@gmail.com. If you need a ride, call 301-887-3101.

Join HAP for our monthly Lunch Bunch on April 13 at 12:00 noon.  We’ll be dining at Akira Ramen & Izakaya located at 5334 Baltimore Ave. Relatively new to Hyattsville, Akira offers authentic Japanese cuisine, focusing on ramen with a variety of delicious broths and noodles made in house  The ramen dishes can include a wide range of toppings including meat, seafood, tofu, and vegetables. They also offer other dishes such as sushi and cold soba noodles. Whether it’s your first visit or your 10th, plan on a culinary delight that allows your taste buds to visit Japan at least for one meal.  Hope to see you on 4/13 at Akira!
