Hyattsville Aging in Place organizes social lunches for neighbors, volunteers, and anyone looking to connect over a good meal! The meals create an opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Each person covers the cost of their own meal, and HAP can help facilitate/provide transportation as needed. All lunches are at noon. To RSVP or ask questions, please email HAPcares@gmail.com. If you need a ride, call 301-887-3101.

Join HAP for our monthly Lunch Bunch on June 8 at 12:00 noon. We’ll be dining at Sarvis Café located at 5711 Sarvis Ave. #101 in Riverdale Park. Sarvis Café serves casual and delicious dishes that use fresh, local ingredients that can be enjoyed inside the cafe or at outdoor seating. They also work with youth who are learning the restaurant business and help train the next generation of entrepreneurial chefs. Join the Lunch Bunch on June 8th to enjoy a fresh seafood salad, a quesadilla, or some smokey ribs (which will be made special that day). Good conversation and fresh food can’t be beat!
