For a decade now, Mark Betancourt and Jamila Larson and many active volunteers at Welcome Home, Neighbor! have been helping families move out of shelters and into their own apartments—relying on the community to help them furnish the places with fresh belongings and supplies, moving them in and getting them settled. Join us to learn what got them started on this community building activity, how it has grown, what they have learned, how many families have been supported and how you can help!
