StrongerMemory is a program offered by Hyattsville Aging in Place to support older adults experiencing symptoms of forgetfulness, difficulty with recall, or who have received a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or early-stage dementia. Participants will complete simple reading, writing, and math activities, practiced 20-30 minutes daily, over the course of 12 weeks, with the goal of stabilizing or improving cognitive functions. There is no cost to participate.
The program runs every Wednesday, May 3 to July 19, 2023, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Friendship Arms, 5805 42nd Avenue in Hyattsville.

“So glad to see that Hyattsville Aging In Place is sponsoring this program! I participated in it last year for two 12-week periods, via the Village of Takoma Park, and it was life changing.”
