Join Heather Olsen and Barbara Hopkins of the Prince George’s County Genealogical Society and Linda Jonas of the Washington DC FamilySearch Center in Kensington, Maryland, for a workshop on preserving family stories, photos and documents. The presentation will include free options for scanning photos and documents, digitizing slides, videotapes, and Super 8 film. It will also include tips on identifying and dating old photos, doing an oral history, and other ways to pass on family stories. We’ll start with Snack & Chat at 10:00 with the formal program beginning at 10:30.
