On October 28, 2023, Caitlin McGrath, executive director of Greenbelt Cinema (formerly Old Greenbelt Theatre), joined Corridor Conversations to Route 1’s classic theatres and the movie industry in general. 2023 marks the 85th anniversary of Greenbelt’s original theater, which was recently renovated, updated, and rebranded. Hear what is in store for the future with the advent of streaming movies on demand, the writers’ strike and artificial intelligence, as well as the impact of this summer’s “Barbenheimer” phenomenon.
