On July 25, 2026, Dr. David Gaseor, DACM, joined Corridor Conversations to lead an introductory session of Emei Qigong. He demonstrated simple movements to improve balance and circulation, basic breathing techniques to calm the mind, and practical tips on eating in a way that supports energy and digestion.
Emei Qigong, a traditional practice from China, combines slow movement, easy breathing, and simple mindfulness in a gentle and relaxing way that supports your health. Similar to Tai Chi, this approach is easy to learn and can be done seated or standing, making it ideal for seniors of all abilities. Whether you are completely new or already familiar with Chinese Medicine/Tai Chi, this session offers a safe, welcoming space to relax, move, and feel better.
Corridor Conversations are organized by Hyattsville Aging in Place, Neighbors Helping Neighbors College Park, Explorations on Aging, Helping Hands University Park, and Gateway Aging Together.
